High school never meant to last forever

Watched some movies recently, and this is the two:

1. High School Musical 3

Film drama musikal yang menceritakan tahun terakhir Gabriella, Troy, dan temen-temennya di East High.

Quote: “High school never meant to last forever.”

2. Rachel Getting Married

Nah kalau ini drama keluarga yang unik. Dilihat dari judulnya, aku pikir peran utamanya bernama Rachel. Tapi ternyata bukan. Pemain utamanya Anne Hathaway yang berperan sebagai Kym, adek Rachel, mantan pecandu yang sedang menjalani pengobatan di pusat rehabilitasi. Dia pulang ke rumah untuk menghadiri pernikahan kakaknya.

Di awal film terlihat hubungan kim dengan keluarganya harmonis, makin lama semakin banyak konflik.

Oh ya, film ini memang unik. Pas acara pernikahan Rachel terlihat penggabungan berbagai budaya. Rachel berkulit putih menikah dengan pria berkulit hitam, tapi pas menikah memakai pakaian India. Pengambilan gambar ketika adegan gathering keluarga Rachel dan Sydney (calon suaminya) seperti melihat video hasil rekaman sendiri. Seperti documenter.

Dan ternyata Anne Hathaway mendapat nominasi pemeran utama wanita terbaik piala Oscar 2009 atas aktingnya di film ini.
